Nathan and Wendy a Wedding of fun
Nathan and Wendy a Wedding of fun moments! The Ceremony was at Centennial United Methodist in Roseville. Nice place lots of areas for cool portraits. The hallways always clean and neat without the usual clutter on the walls. Park location was Irvine in Saint Paul very hip and secluded not many people know of this location. You need a permit to park on the street and it does not hurt to get a permit to lock in the location too. Reception was at the Hilton Garden Inn down town Saint Paul. Great place lots of light in the reception area and the ballroom rocks! Butter cream has a neat little account at most hotel locations so do not pass up on the discount of getting their cake for your wedding. The dinner was fantastic, pecan crusted pork loin large pieces and tasty to boot. Elegant, fun and flirty photos of the couple. They even brought a few beach balls to play with at the park.
Great weddings are planned and Wendy was no slouch in this department. She came up with five pages of flavor photos she thought reflected her dream day. Thanks Wendy and Nathan for allowing Andrews Photography to document your day. Here is a preview of some of the retouched images for their album. The website will be up on Saturday this week.

Bridal Session for Samantha
Andrews Photography had the chance to craft a really fun bridal session. Samantha said she had a spot picked out. A old community building right by her house in Wisconsin. The spot was perfect and the owner was kind enough to let her pick a flower for the photos. Bridal sessions are a blast this gives the bride a chance to get a run thru with the dress makeup and we’ll the photographer. The bonus for Samantha is she gets her bridal photos taken at a cool spot with controlled lighting and a casual time line. Gotta get going to the wedding hers is today more to follow.. Andrews Photography had the chance to bring a little happiness into each family that attended the Mothers Day Brunch at the Hilton Down Town Minneapolis. the brunch was fantastic, if you have never gone its time to put this on your calender for next year.
We had a wide arrange of families this year. A couple with their new borne, a couple just engaged to be married, and so many families back year after year. Five years and counting now for one family, they have not missed a brunch or a family photo. They had thirty plus family members last year and they keep on growing, Andrews Photography is going to need a bigger back drop.
So the lighting set up this year was two umbrellas and a backdrop a little less than we brought years past. Next year we will be back to the large octa box more control and a little nicer light.
The bonus this year was a complimentary print for mom. We are happy to say we had 31 families come through for the offer. This is the first year we have given something away. So if your one of the families that received a free print and want us to do the offer for next year lets see some comments posted on our blog and Facebook.
Thanks again to the Hilton Minneapolis for hosting us to come out and be a part of the mother’s day brunch. If you like your photos and liked us maybe call the Hilton and tell them it’s always a big deal for us when clients comment on our work.

Chiropractor the Wonderful…. Woodbury Spine

I think the chiropractic profession gets a bad wrap sometimes. When you hear the stories it’s always about someone that went one time to get an adjustment after a car accident and said i feel worse off than I did before going in and never goes back. Think long term care not a quick fix. Your body was not created in one day it took nearly nine months to build. I just found out that the first system you grow as a fetus is the nervous system. Keep your nervous system healthy, you have a great chance of being healthy. The car accident messed you up in a second so give your chiro guy a few months to get you back in fit shape.
My experience I bought a new house and spent a summer fixing up the grounds lots of dirt digging my right knee popped out of joint from all the jarring. I could barely walk, the pain was pretty bad too. I called Justin Nye the chiro guy of Woodbury Spine he said, come on in and we will get you fixed up. It has been three weeks now and my knee is back in shape. He did not just do the knee, when I go in I get my back, toes and neck re adjusted too. He does wonderful work, thanks to all the staff at Woodbury Spine.
I believe in him so much I have sent my friends and family to see him. My kids just 7months old and gets adjusted too! If you have a colicky baby then get your kid in he or she is crying because something is out of wack. It worked for us and it will work for you too.
Woodbury Spine, Justin Nye. We did a photo campaign that involved taking portraits of each individual that worked at the clinic, room shots, exterior and details. The next phase will be to highlight the massage therapy aspect of the business. The clinic is really cool fun wall colors and interesting angles. We wanted to utilize those aspects in the photos. We found a nice overlap of tones and did the portraits near that corner. For the ladies we had a small soft box and used a model fan to get their hair moving. Who would not want to look like a model. Some minor face retouching and burning the corners of the images finalized the images. When you are planning a project like this try to schedule in about two to three hours for shoot time.

Wedding for Chris and Stephanie
Destination Wedding the family homestead. Stephanie’s dad fixed up the grounds and even built another building for the guys to change in. I think it was safe to say he really loves his daughter. Stephanie you and chris were so wonderful cant wait till the wear the dress session next week.
Three things I loved about Chris and Stephanie’s day
1. They had a fantastic first glance, a quick five to ten minutes of uninterrupted emotion and interaction. Isn’t this what most girls want the moment he sees her for the first time?
2. They had a vision and then the wisdom to ask how do we go about capturing that vision on film?
3. I knew Chris was a funny guy but he really pulled out a few stops, check out the image we captured of him escorting Stephanie after dads hand off. I don’t think she even saw him do the face. Andrews Photography lives for those moments in between moments. Those split seconds of whats real, images full of emotion. The image that brings you back to what you were fealing on that day at that time.
The wedding day moves so quick and so much is going on. The images of the wedding day are the only things that can help bring back that spit second of time.
