Ditto and Co with Andrews Photography

Do you ever wonder why some photos look fantastic and others are just ho hum? Now you can stop settling for ho hum through a partnership between Andrews Photography and Ditto & Co.

Gretchen Ditto, of Ditto & Co, is a certified image consultant and style advisor who can help you figure out how to make that professional photo stand out. Gretchen is technically trained in color and fit and uses that training to help her clients go from ho hum to HELLO!

Disclosure: Gretchen Ditto is an extremely satisfied client of Andrews Photography! Gretchen used Andrews Photography as she was launching her business and has used them again as her own image transformation required a new head shot. Rod, of Andrews Photography, took the time to help Gretchen create a photography that represented her professional brand, which is imperative to have in this world of on-line communication.

Tips for a Great Photo:
Makeup: For men, the most you need is powder to keep the shine down. For women, I suggest you wear 50% more than you usually wear. Think of it as a theatre performance. Actresses always wear a lot more makeup than they would on the street, but it’s so the audience can see them. Same goes for photographs—wear more than usual and you’ll look great in your photos. My secret tip: I’ve recently started wearing ‘Redness Reduction’ makeup from Clinique. I love it and I think it’s made a huge difference in my recent head-shot session.

Color to Match Eyes: Wear something that matches your eyes, including both the color of your irises and the whites of your eyes. This combination will make your eyes ‘pop’.

Wear a Jacket: A jacket will give you more structure and a ‘presence’ when it comes to your professional photo. This goes for both men and women. If you’re in more of a creative field you can still wear a jacket, but it doesn’t have to be a suit jacket. For example, check out my photo on http://www.dittoandco.com

Stand up: Think about it—do you have more energy when you stand or sit? When you stand, of course! Have your photographer take photos while you’re standing or leaning against something. Your photos will seem to show a more authentic you.

Laugh/Smile: While on the way to your photo shoot or during the photo shoot listen or think of something that makes you happy. While serious photos send a message of professionalism, a photo that makes you look friendly and approachable will get you that next job or promotion towards which you’ve been working.

Chiropractor the Wonderful…. Woodbury Spine

Andrews Photography talks about chiro guy and photo shoot for Woodbury Spine,

creative room photos, commercial shoot,

creative room photos, commercial shoot, andrews photography chiro center

I think the chiropractic profession gets a bad wrap sometimes. When you hear the stories it’s always about someone that went one time to get an adjustment after a car accident and said i feel worse off than I did before going in and never goes back. Think long term care not a quick fix. Your body was not created in one day it took nearly nine months to build. I just found out that the first system you grow as a fetus is the nervous system. Keep your nervous system healthy, you have a great chance of being healthy. The car accident messed you up in a second so give your chiro guy a few months to get you back in fit shape.

My experience I bought a new house and spent a summer fixing up the grounds lots of dirt digging my right knee popped out of joint from all the jarring. I could barely walk, the pain was pretty bad too. I called Justin Nye the chiro guy of Woodbury Spine he said, come on in and we will get you fixed up. It has been three weeks now and my knee is back in shape. He did not just do the knee, when I go in I get my back, toes and neck re adjusted too. He does wonderful work, thanks to all the staff at Woodbury Spine.

I believe in him so much I have sent my friends and family to see him. My kids just 7months old and gets adjusted too! If you have a colicky baby then get your kid in he or she is crying because something is out of wack. It worked for us and it will work for you too.

Woodbury Spine, Justin Nye. We did a photo campaign that involved taking portraits of each individual that worked at the clinic, room shots, exterior and details. The next phase will be to highlight the massage therapy aspect of the business. The clinic is really cool fun wall colors and interesting angles. We wanted to utilize those aspects in the photos. We found a nice overlap of tones and did the portraits near that corner. For the ladies we had a small soft box and used a model fan to get their hair moving. Who would not want to look like a model. Some minor face retouching and burning the corners of the images finalized the images. When you are planning a project like this try to schedule in about two to three hours for shoot time.

Andrews Photography captures Creative Head shots for the firm of Halleland Habicht PA

Andrews Photography captures Creative Head shots for the firm of Halleland Habicht PA. a quick summary of what Halleland Habicht does, They believe in a new approach to the firm/client relationship. When conditions can shift in a nanosecond, businesses and organizations need heightened responsiveness that goes beyond reactivity and comes from second-nature familiarity with your core goals. That’s where they come in. Literally.
They say they will come in to your office, your boardroom, your meetings and your phone conferences until your vision becomes their vision. their goal, plain and simple, is to be a member of your team. That’s why they offer a full spectrum of law, consulting and policy services, all under one roof, so you can count on a unified strategy and real results for your business. Lastly, they offer a flexible fee structure that reflects these goals, so that in everything they do — from business acquisitions to health care compliance — you come first. If you’re looking to go beyond just hiring a lawyer or consultant and want to find your firm, they invite you to get in touch with them. Here is the link to some of the portraits Andrews-Photography created for them.

Andrews Photography did the shoot from 8:00am to 3:00pm, we accomplished three different poses for each individual and several different pods or group photos. Some interaction or staged client interaction photos. Most of the details of the firms meeting rooms and entry way.

The staff was fantastic and worked hard on bringing in a few items that reflected their personality or that clients connected with them. Andrews Photography came up with the idea of using creative words to place in each of the staffs portraits. These words were printed out and placed on a name plate somewhere in the portrait.
