Andrews Photography did a food photo shoot for Chef Productions recently. If you into food then you should maybe check them out. Chef Productions ahs been around for a number of years. Tips on great Food Photography from Rod Andrew Wilson, Owner and Photographer of Andrews Photography,
1. Have the set ready to go before hand and try using a stand in for the Hero food
2. Food does not stand very long so have it fixed and then shoot it, never eat the food you shoot
3. To get the shine bring a small brush to coat lettuce or food with oil, if you have the budget hire a food stylist
4. Light from the back and reflect the light back into an on the plate
5. Use a tripod and focusing rail if you can
